Red-Hots Apple Sauce in the Crockpot

  • 10-12 apples, peeled, cored & chopped
  • 1 cup red hots
  • 1  cup water

Combine in crockpot. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours or HIGH 4 hours. Serve warm or chilled.

I am SO happy I found this! My high school best friend lived with her grandma who was a fantastic cook. She made her applesauce with red hots and it was heavenly! I remember sitting at their kitchen counter eating bowl after bowl of this. Can’t wait to try it for my own family!
