3 medium yellow squash
12 crushed crackers (6 for inside and 6 on top)
1/2 cup milk
1 beaten egg
1 small chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsp. Sugar
salt and pepper to taste
Boil the squash until tender. Drain and mash up. Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish. Top with crumbled crackers and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
