Hosting Pot Luck Wedding – Good Or Bad Idea

We are planning our wedding this fall. We're on a pretty tight budget, like everyone these days.
My fiance thinks we should ask our guests to bring a dish. I think we should provide the food…I would LOVE to hear what everyone thinks as well as any advice you might have for us. Thanks so much.
