Years ago, my sister’s best friend would make this kind of caramel popcorn with marshmallows on the stove. I have looked around for it, but to no avail. Thanks

I got this from a friends blog, but can’t find it again. It is for popcorn balls.

    Chewy Popcorn Balls

    3/4 C brown sugar
1 stick of butter or margarin
    10 Large Marshmallows
1-2 bags unbuttered popcorn(thugh, I just used 9 cups of rgular popper-popped corn)

Melt brown sugar, butter, and marshmllows in a saucepan until ll blended and melted. Pour on popped corn. Stir well. Then shape into balls and let sit on wax paper. Should make about 12 medium sized popcorn balls.

I don’t know if this is what you are looking for but it sounds at least similar.
    50 large marshmallows
    1/3 cup butter or margarine
    6 qts popped corn

Combine marshmallows and butter in a dutch oven. Cook over low heat until melted. Pour hot mixture over popped corn and toss to coat.

Can also shape into popcorn balls. Coat hands with cooking spray or butter and shape popcorn into balls. Place on wax paper to cool.
