Saucy Ham and Veggies

Ham and Veggies

  • 3 cups mixed vegetables frozen
  • 1 7/8-ounce package béarnaise sauce mix *
  • Cold tap water
  • Butter or margarine
  • 2 1/2 cups ham cubed cooked (about 1 lb.)
  • 1/4 cup seasoned stuffing mix
  • Black pepper

Start by preheating your oven to 375°. Cook vegetables according to package directions; drain and set aside. When I'm short on time, I simply microwave them in a microwave safe dish with a little water until they are tender.

Prepare béarnaise sauce according to package directions, substituting water for the milk.

In a 1 1/2 -quart casserole, mix ham, drained vegetables, and sauce until blended. Sprinkle with stuffing mix and pepper.

Bake 15 minutes or until heated through.

*If sauce mix is not with the other sauce mixes, look in the specialty food section of your supermarket
