Do I need to add any liquid to the pot?

  2. Laughter says:

Shouldn’t if your lid fits ok – it’ll make some broth as it cooks – of course if you want more broth you can add a little water or juice – juice will jump the flavor a little, depending on what you use – tomato, apple, V8, etc – depends if you want roast or stewed chicken! Enjoy it whichever way you end up!! Hugs -

I have made crock pot chicken for a long time and love it. I always cut off as much skin as possible and add a little water. I hated trying to figure out if the chicken was done all the way through when baking it, but cooking it in my crock pot there is no doubt and love how the meat falls off the bone.

  4. Carrie says:

I put rice with a little water in the bottom. It cooks with the chicken. Just add salad and you are finished.
