Happy Tuesday. Thanks to plenty of rest, tea and a big pot of chicken soup, we are feeling much better today and I’m actually getting some work and housework done this morning. First on my list was of course browsing through today’s Kindle cookbooks. Here are my finds for you. There were a lot of interesting slow cooker cookbooks along with some other great finds. Enjoy!
(Make sure you check it before you download. Prices can change anytime)
I love cleaning with natural products like baking soda, vinegar and lemon juice. They are cheaper than their store-bought alternatives and smell much better. I also like the idea that they are better for my family and the environment. This free download is full of recipes you can start using right away.
If you follow me on Facebook, you know that we love to eat Breakfast for dinner around here. With that in mind, I’m always looking for hardy breakfast recipes and this little cookbook fits the bill perfectly.
You just can’t mess up a good crockpot recipe. That’s one of the things I love about them. Here is a whole cookbook full of recipes, perfect for these last few cold weeks of winter and early spring.
This is my favorite find today. 3 great cookbooks combined in one easy download. They are all tried and true homestyle recipes your family will love.
I’m a big fan of freezer cooking (as you know) and am always looking for more recipes and ideas.
This is another great download. We all tend to think mostly meat dishes and soups and stews when it comes to slow cookers, but they are a perfect way to cook vegetarian dishes as well. Perfect for those days when you’re going meatless to help the grocery budget.
Dump cakes are so quick and easy to make because usually it’s just a matter of dumping (hence the name dump cake) the ingredients into a baking dish and putting in the oven. I hope you’ll enjoy this latest HBHW kindle cookbook.
This isn’t a cookbook, but a great guide if you are thinking of growing some plants from seeds. We’re doing this with some banana plants and tomatoes right now and I look forward to trying my hand at a few kitchen herbs as well.
If you or a loved one have Diabetes (or are Pre-Diabetic), this is a great book to read and have on hand.
Slow cookers are a bit of a theme of today’s selection. I picked up this one because it is full of yummy gluten-free recipes. If you’re following the Paleo Diet, it’s also a good fit.
I don’t know about the claim of these being the healthiest recipes on earth, but like the idea of cooking better for me meals in my crockpot.
Don’t have a kindle? Not a problem. You can read the books on your computer and other devices. If you decide to buy one, I recommend this basic model. I’ve had one for quite some time and can highly recommend it.
I will do my best to share more free and cheap kindle books with you regularly as time permits. Subscribe to the blog or like the HBHW Facebook page to get updates each time I add more free reads.
