Free Kindle Cookbooks February 15th Including Crepes, Dandelion and Seafood

Good morning. It’s so nice to be home with my family again. Our daughter doesn’t have school today so we’re starting our long weekend with a nice breakfast. I made smoothies as soon as we got up and just pushed a French Toast Breakfast casserole (recipe in the Breakfast Casserole Cookbook) in the oven. While that’s baking I’m sipping some coffee and browsing through today’s free Kindle cookbooks. I’m finding some interesting stuff.

Crepes – the “all-you-need-to-know” complete guide to making crepes

I love a good crepe, but find them difficult to make. One of the reasons I love them is because they are so versatile. You can make sweet crepes, savory crepes … make them gourmet, or just use whatever leftovers you can find in the fridge to fill them and make them a complete meal. I’m hoping the tips in this book and some practice will have me making perfect, paper-thin crepes in no time.

Favorite Fish and Seafood Recipes from the Coast of Maine (A Regional Cookbook)

I wish I got to travel more. One of the places I would love to see is the Coast of Maine. When I can’t travel to all the places I’d like to, it’s nice to experience a little bit of the culture of a region, by reading about it and in my case read cookbooks from that area. I may even end up making a few of these dishes.

The Wonderful World of Dandelions: 40 Fabulous Recipes for Cooking with Dandelions: (Health Series)

Who knew that a weed that grows in my backyard has so many health benefits and can be used as a food. I’m looking forward to giving some of these recipes a try (provided I can keep my husband from mowing them down).

25 Tasty Slow Cooker Recipes: Soup, Chicken, Beef, Pasta and Pork Slow Cooker Cookbook

Surprise, surprise … another slow cooker cookbook. No matter how many of these I read and use, I always find a new twist on a recipe or dish or get ideas for other crockpot meals.

The Broke-Ass Cookbook

This is the book I look forward to reading to the most. It’s always nice to compare notes on what other frugal families are doing. Starting dinner with a soup is something we used to do at some point. It will be a great habit to get back into.

Did you know that you don’t need a kindle device to read these books? If you decide to buy one, I recommend this basic model. I’ve had one for quite some time and can highly recommend it.

I will do my best to share more free kindle books with you regularly as time permits. Subscribe to the blog or like the HBHW Facebook page to get updates each time I add more free reads.
