Today is one of the coldest day’s we’ve had so far. It makes me want to curl up on the couch with a blanket, a cup of steaming coffee and my kindle. I might just be able to sneak that in sometime later this morning. I love browsing through cookbooks and the likes and have picked a couple of great free ones this morning that I’d like to share with you.
But first, don’t forget to grab my latest kindle cookbook. It’s all about winter soups and stews, a staple in my meal plans during the winter months. You can download it on Amazon for $2.99.
Now let’s take a look at some free Kindle books for today. As always, make sure the book is still free before you “buy / download” it.
Frugal packed lunches don’t have to involve peanut butter sandwiches each day. This book is full of yummy ideas that will still save you money each day.
Pasta is one of my “go-to” meals when I don’t know what else to fix and it’s always a great frugal choice. The pasta itself is filling and you need only a little meat or veggies for added flavor. I’m looking forward to trying some new recipes from this book.
For a little change of pace… here’s a cute little book on herbal beauty remedies. I don’t use a lot of product, but thought it might be fun to make some with my daughter this coming weekend.
I’m always on the lookout for cleaning tips and love homemade cleaners. This book looks like a great choice for both.
Let’s finish today with something yummy and healthy… quinoa. I don’t have to tell you that I love cooking with this ancient grain. My favorite is to add cooked quinoa to various salads.
Did you know that you don’t need a kindle device to read these books? If you decide to buy one, I recommend this basic model. I’ve had one for quite some time and can highly recommend it.
I will do my best to share more free kindle books with you regularly as time permits. Subscribe to the blog or like the HBHW Facebook page to get updates each time I add more free reads.
