I am looking for the old refrigerator bran muffin recipe that was made with All-Bran cereal.
Thanks for this recipe…….it simplifies the
ingredients needed for bran muffins. Janet
I divide this recipe in half. I use leftover (stale) raisin bran (generic). Also, I used egg whites and applesauce instead of whole eggs and oil and we LOVE the result!
These are a favorite at our house! Nice heavy moist muffins!
Made a 1/4 batch this morning- made 18 muffins. I used half white/half whole wheat, applesauce instead of oil, brown sugar, skim milk instead of buttermilk, and one full egg and 1 white. I also added cinnamon to some of them, and chopped apricots to some. The cinnamon really is great, the chopped apricots I liked but might be a little odd to some. YMMV.
I remember my late mom making these… they were always soooo yummy. Thanks for reminding me of them and I’m putting raisin bran on the my grocery list for this week!!
Has anyone adaped this to gluten free -
